Building Boom! Where's All the Property Managers?

Every year there are many more buildings in Southwestern BC, are there enough experienced managers to look after all these properties?

This is a question on many peoples minds as we continue to see the addition of new high rise buildings and new townhouse subdivisions all around us. With all this new construction we have found that many managers are looking after a larger total number of units or are taking on more assistants to help manage these properties. As a result of the increased work loads, property managers need to find new ways of being super efficient and disciplined with their time to get through the important tasks each week.

BCStrataTrades.com aims to showcase some contractors that have existing and current experience working with stratas and rental properties. For example, we list contractors that are experienced in preparing notices for upcoming projects and in working with strata councils.

Just as there is a shortage of property managers, we have found that there are also not as many new service trades as needed, making it hard for managers to find the right contractor at the right time and even harder to get more than one or two quotes for an upcoming project.
